Stranger Than Fiction's "Sketch Wars" is the ultimate comedy competition. Combining elements of improv and sketch comedy, in a competitive format, two teams go head-to-head through multiple rounds, taking their skills as comedians to their very limits. Each round of the competition focuses on different comedic areas and is judged by a panel of comedy experts in front of a live studio audience.
Teams are tested on their capacity to seamlessly blend the spontaneous and unpredictability of improv with outrageousness of sketch comedy. Teams are also tested on their ability to write and produce comedy shorts in a high pressure, time sensitive environment.
